Some of My Thoughts

As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, I approach therapy with a deep understanding of the impact trauma can have on a individual's life. I create a compassionate and non-judgmental environment, where children, teens, and adults can feel heard, validated, and supported as they navigate their unique healing journeys. Mindfulness is at the core of my therapeutic approach. By cultivating present-moment awareness, individuals can learn to regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and enhance their overall well-being. Through mindfulness-based techniques, I guide my clients in developing self-compassion, resilience, and greater self-awareness. I also integrate "parts work" like Internal Family Systems and Janina Fisher's Complex Trauma Model as well as Jungian psychology into my practice. By exploring the different aspects of the self, we can better understand the inner dynamics and conflicts that may be impacting an individual's emotional well-being. This approach allows us to unlock deeper insights, foster self-discovery, and promote personal growth. At my practice, I provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual counseling, family therapy, and child and teen therapy. Whether an individual is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal challenges, or creative blocks, my goal is to empower them with the tools and skills they need to navigate life's obstacles and cultivate resilience. I invite you to explore my website and learn more about my trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approach, incorporating "parts work" and Jungian psychology. Together, let's create a safe and transformative space for you or your child to heal, grow, and thrive.
